IMD

About the Programme:

The education system in India has witnessed a lot of transformation. The introduction of Integrated Master Degree programmes (IMD) at higher education is one of them. It is a degree programme which combines two degrees and a single degree is awarded as a whole after the completion of the programme. By combining two degrees, candidates can avail two academic qualifications in one shot.  They do not need to apply for PG admission separately, which saves time, effort and energy. An IMD has become one of the most popular postgraduate programme at university level, with many students now finding more convenience in it over the traditional post graduate courses. The programme structures and contents of the syllabi of IMD programme are up to date and research oriented. The New Education Policy, 2020 of the Government of India also laid down special emphasis on introducing more IMD programmes at higher educational institutions in India. Thus, keeping in mind of the growing popularity of IMD programmes, MBB University has introduced IMD programmes in Chemistry and Commerce with the help of human resource and physical infrastructures of MBB College and BBM College which are affiliated to MBB University.
