Dr. Runu Dhar

Dr. Runu Dhar is born on 7th January, 1975, studied in Kirit Bikram Institution, Udaipur and passed Madhyamik and H.S. (+2 stage) from Tripura Board of Secondary Education. Dr. Dhar also studied at MBB College & Tripura University and finished graduation to Ph.D. Programme from Tripura University. Dr. Dhar qualified in CSIR-UGC NET. Dr. Dhar joined the Department of Mathematics, Tripura Engineering College (presently known as NIT Agartala) in 2001 as a Part Time Contract Teacher. and joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Ram Krishna Mahavidyalaya, Kailashahar in 2005 and BBM College in 2008 under the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Tripura. He worked as Secretary (Academic) of Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examinations for six years. Dr. Dhar has been working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics, MBB University since 2017 to till date. He has been working on various capacities in the University like as Head of the Department of Mathematics, Coordinator of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), NAAC Coordinator, Drawing & Disbursing Officer, State Public Information Officer, Nodal Officer of All India Survey for Higher Education, Nodal Officer of National Scholarship Portal, Dean-in-charge of Science etc.

Dr. Runu Dhar has published more than 20 number of research articles in a journal of national and international repute; published more than 10 number of book chapters, wrote 4 number of books, organized more than 10 number of National & International Coference, Seminar, Workshop, attended various academic events. Dr. Dhar completed one UGC Minor Research Project. Dr. Dhar is supervising five number of Ph.D. Scholars.
