In accordance with the University Grants Commission “Guidelines for Establishment of Research and Development Cell in Higher Education Institutions" the Maharaja Bir Bikram University has constituted the “Research and Development Cell" (RDC) along with five sub-committees, namely, (i) Financial and Infrastructure: (ii) Research Program and Policy Development; (iii) Collaboration and Community; (iv) Product Development, Monitoring and Commercialisation, (v) IPR, Legal & Ethical Matters with the following members:
