M.A. in Political Science

PSO1. Increasing in depth knowledge and getting exposure to the recent advanced developments in the field. Developing and inculcating mathematical reasoning, logical thinking and creative minds for analyzing and solving problems. It will enable them to formulate hypothesis, evaluate and validate and draw conclusion.
PSO2. Improving analytical and problem solving ability among the students to identify, address and resolve problems at community levels
PSO3.Developing research aptitude and skills among the students at the post graduate level.
PSO4. Preparing the students for appearing in NET/SET/SLET/GATE/various examinations conducted by TPSC.

Ph.D. in Political Science

PSO1.Developing and enhancing expertise in fundamental aspects of Political Science with special emphasis on Political Theory, International Relations, Public Policy & Public Administration and Politics in North-East India.

PSO3.To promote knowledge by producing successful doctorates in Political Science and other allied fields.
PSO4. Promoting research publications of National and International standards in reputed journals.
PSO5. To promote consultancy skills among the research scholars and provide consultancy services to various research organizations.
