For fostering social responsibility and community engagement as recommended by the University Grants Commission, MBB University adopted the Dighaliya gram Panchayat under Bamutia R.D. Block of West Tripura District as its Adopted Village.

The students and teachers of the University under the leadership of NSS Programme Officer perform various activities and organize different programmes an regular basis at the Adopted Village.
