Club Activities:

1. Eco Club, MBB University and Science Club, MBB University and the Department of Mathematics, MBB University jointly observed the World Earth Day 2024 on April 22, 2024 through a Cleanliness Campaign on the theme Planet vs. Plastics under the aegis of SWACHH BHARAT, SWASTH BHARAT Mission and Mission LiFE Movement of the Government of India. The prime objective of this Cleanliness Campaign was to raise the awareness against the devastating effects of plastic pollution that is destroying our environment and biodiversity.
2. The Quiz Club, MBB University in collaboration with the NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club, MBB University organised a Quiz Competition in connection with the Voter Awareness Campaign on “Mera Pehla Vote Desh Ke Liye” on March 06, 2024 in the Conference Hall, Academic Block, MBB University.
3. The Movie & Photography Club of MBB University has screened the movie ‘12th Fail’ on January 24, 2024. The objective was to inspire and motivate students.
4. The Eco Club, NSS Unit, and Red Ribbon Club of MBB University organized a "Wetland Mitra Pledge" taking ceremony on January 24, 2024. The objective was to raise awareness about the vital role of Wetlands in our life and our planet.
5. The Eco Club, NSS Unit, and Red Ribbon Club of MBB University organized a "Drawing Competition" on the theme “Wetlands and Human Beings” on January 24, 2024. The objective was to raise awareness about the vital role of Wetlands in our life and our planet.
6. Quiz Club of MBB University, in collaboration with the NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club of MBB University organised a Quiz Competition on the theme “Importance of Fitness” on December 15, 2023 to celebrate the FIT INDIA WEEK – 2023. In this competition Sourav Das (Department of Mathematics, MBB University). Ajoy Das (Department of Mathematics, MBB University) and Arman Debbarma (Department of English, MBB University) respectively won First, Second and Third Prize.
7. Eco Club, NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club, MBB University organised a Rally to generate mass awareness about the Environmental Sensitivity, jointly with the Department of Mathematics, MBB University and the Department of Library & Information Science, MBB University in the World Earth Day Celebration 2023 on July 06, 2023 sponsored by the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India.

Eco Club, NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club, MBB University organized a Tree Plantation Ceremony in the MBB University Campus in connection with the Van Mahotsav 2023 jointly with the Department of Mathematics, MBB University and the Department of Library & Information Science, MBB University in the World Earth Day Celebration 2023 on July 06, 2023 sponsored by the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India.
9. Science Club and Innovation Club, MBB University organized a Poster Competition on the topic “Invest in Our Planet” jointly with the Department of Mathematics, MBB University and the Department of Library & Information Science, MBB University in the World Earth Day Celebration 2023 on July 06, 2023 sponsored by the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India. In this competition Reshmi Sarkar (Department of Mathematics, MBB University), Mukta Ganchoudhuri (IMD Chemistry, MBB University) and Chandan Nath (Department of Mathematics, MBB University) respectively won the First Prize (Rs. 3000/-), Second Prize (Rs. 2000/-) and Third Prize (Rs. 1000/-). Along with them a total of 07 students were awarded Consolation Prizes.
10. The Quiz Club, MBB University organized a Quiz Competition on the theme of HIV/AIDS, Injecting Drug Use etc. to observe the World AIDS Day – 2022 on December 07, 2022 in the Conference Hall, Academic Block, MBB University.
11. The Eco Club, MBB University in collaboration with the NSS Unit, MBB University and the Red Ribbon Club, MBB University organized a Tree Plantation Ceremony to celebrate the Van Mahotsava 2022 on July 04, 2022 in the MBB University campus. The Honorable Vice-Chancellor Prof. Satyadeo Poddar, Dr. Sumanta Chakrabarti, Registrar, faculty members, employees and more than 100 students, NSS Volunteers, Red Ribbon Club members of MBB University participated in this program and planted more than 50 Tree Saplings.
12. The Eco Club, MBB University in collaboration with the NSS Unit, MBB University and the Red Ribbon Club, MBB University organized an Awareness Program on “Environmental Sensitivity: Only One Earth – Living Sustainably in Harmony with Nature” on June 13, 2022. In this program along with special lectures a Rally against Plastic Pollution was organized. Almost 200 participants constituted of the Honorable Vice-Chancellor Prof. Satyadeo Poddar, Dr. Sumanta Chakrabarti, Registrar and students, faculty members, employees, NSS Volunteers, Red Ribbon Club members of MBB University rallied in the MBB University campus, College Tilla and surroundings.
13. The Quiz Club of MBB University conducted a Quiz Competition on June 13, 2022 in the “Awareness Program on Environmental Sensitivity: Only One Earth – Living Sustainably in Harmony with Nature”.
14. Quiz Club of MBB University conducted a Quiz Competition on March 08, 2022 to celebrate the International Women’s Day 2022.
15. Students of MBB University participated in the Short Film Competition 2021 organized by the Tripura State AIDS Control Society in November 2021. A short film titled “Ray of Hope” made in collaboration with NSS Unit & Drama Club of MBB University, written and directed by Dr. Debadatta Adak, Assistant Professor; Department of Mathematics won Third Prize in this competition.
16. The Science Club, MBB University in collaboration with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), MBB University and Quiz Club, MBB University organized a One Day National Webinar on Science and our Earth along with a Quiz Competition for the students on September 16, 2021 in the Conference Hall, Academic Building, MBB University. Sri. Ayan Saha, Officer In-Charge, Udaipur Science Centre, Tripura State Council for Science and Technology (TSCST), Tripura delivered an invited lecture on constellations and the relation of cancer line with Tripureswari Temple of Tripura.
