Objectives of NSS Unit, MBB University

  1. Fostering social responsibility and community engagement.
  2. Raise awareness against Injecting Drug Use and HIV/AIDS especially among the School, College and University students through Rallies, Door-to-Door surveys etc.
  3. Raise awareness against Plastic and other types of pollution among the masses.
  4. Organization of various patriotic campaigns such as Har Ghar Tiranga, Meri Mati Mera Desh, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav etc.
  5. Organization of various Door-to-Door awareness Campaigns, Surveys etc.
  6. Organization of various student centric activities such as Cultural Program, Quiz, Poster, Debate, Drawing Competitions etc. to boost the inner talents of students in a healthy competitive environment as well as raise awareness and strengthen social integrity.
  7. Regular Organization of Blood Donation Camps, Cloth Donation Camps, 7 – Day Special Camps, Armed Forces Flag Day Fund Donations etc.
  8. Observance of various days of National and International Importance, such as National Youth Day, International Women’s Day, World Environment Day, Earth Day, World AIDS Day etc.
  9. Organization of various cleanliness campaigns such as SWACHHATA PAKWADA, SWACCH BHARAT – SWASTH BHARAT, MISSION LiFE etc. to raise awareness about hygiene and cleanliness.
  10. Regular visit to the Dighalia Gram Panchayat, the Adopted Village of MBB University to provide various skill development and enhancement trainings such as communication skills, cultural skills, art skills, yoga skills, educational skills etc. to the school goers of the adopted village as well as cleanliness drive, awareness campaigns etc.

Some activities of the NSS Unit of MBB University:

  1. The NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club of MBB University organized a "Blood Donation Camp" on May 02, 2024 that was inaugurated by Shri Indrasena Reddy Nallu, The Honorable Governor of Tripura. In this camp 16 units of blood were donated.
  2. NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club of MBB University organized a "Cleanliness Drive - SWACHHATA PAKHWADA" in the University Campus to celebrate the "World Earth Day 2024" on May 01, 2024 as a part of the 7 - Day Special Camp during April 29, 2024 to May 05, 2024.
  3. NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club of MBB University organized the "Celebration of World Earth Day 2024" on May 01, 2024 as a part of the 7 - Day Special Camp during April 29, 2024 to May 05, 2024. Dr. Sumanta Chakrabarti, Registrar delivered the Keynote Address.
  4. NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club of MBB University organized a "Cloth Donation Camp" among the needy workers of "Satish Bricks Field, Jirania Khala, Tripura" on April 30, 2024 as a part of the 7 - Day Special Camp during April 29, 2024 to May 05, 2024.

  8. The NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club of MBB University celebrated International Women's Day 2024 on March 12, 2024. Dr. Gita Debnath, Retired Principal & Academician and Miss Manisha Saha, a differently abled Mathematics student of Tripura were felicitated.
  9. The NSS Unit, Red Ribbon Club and Quiz Club of MBB University organized Voter Awareness Campaign on “Mera Pehla Vote Desh Ke Liye” on March 06, 2024. In this occasion Voter's Pledge was taken and a Quiz Competition was organized.
  10. The NSS volunteers of MBB University organized a Sit and Draw Activity Session in connection to "Mera Pehla Vote Desh Ke Liye" campaign involving the school goers of the Dighalia Gram Panchayat, the Adopted Village of MBB University on March 03, 2024.

  16. Sourav Das and Rima Sinha, NSS Volunteers of MBB University were selected as NSS Volunteers from Tripura to participate in the 27th National Youth Festival organized by The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India during January 12, 2024 to January 16, 2024.
  17. NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club of MBB University organized “An Awareness Program Against the Fatal Effects of Different Drugs on Human Mind and Body” on January 02, 2024.
  18. NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club of MBB University conducted a Door - to -Door Awareness Campaign against the Injecting Drug Use & HIV/AIDS at the Adopted Village of MBB University on December 03, 2023 in connection to the World AIDS Day – 2023.
  19. The NSS Unit, MBB University organized a Sprinting Competition involving the boy and girl children of the Dighalia Gram Panchayat, the Adopted Village of MBB University on October 14, 2023 in connection to the Fit India Swachhata Freedom Run 4.0.
  20. NSS Unit of MBB University in collaboration with the Red Ribbon Club of MBB University, Regional Directorate of NSS (NER), Guwahati, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India and Tripura State NSS Cell, Government of Tripura organized Yuva Samvad : India @ 2047 on December 12, 2023. In this program a Speech Competition was organized on the theme Panch Prans : Vision of Bharat as Vishwaguru in 2047 involving the students of MBB University and its affiliated colleges. Ld. Siddhartha Shankar Dey, Advocate General, Tripura was present as the Chief Guest and Dr. Chitrajit Bhaumik, Tripura State NSS Officer was present as the Special Guest. Rima Sinha (Department of Mathematics, MBB University), Sourav Das (Department of Mathematics, MBB University) and Panthor Debbarma (Department of Political Science, MBB University) respectively won First, Second and Third Prize in the Speech Competition.
  21. The Red Ribbon Club of MBB University in collaboration with the NSS Unit of MBB University observed the World AIDS Day 2023 on December 01, 2023. In this occasion a Poster Making Competition on the theme of HIV/AIDS, Injecting Drug Use, World AIDS Day etc. was organized and a Human Chain in the Academic Block premises to generate awareness against the Injecting Drug Use & HIV/AIDS. In the poster competition Rima Sinha (Department of Mathematics), Priya Saha (Department of Mathematics) and Sabita Musahar (Department of Mathematics) respectively won First, Second and Third Prize.
  22. The NSS Unit organized a Pledge Taking Ceremony on November 26, 2023 at Dighalia Gram Panchayat, the Adopted Village of MBB University. In this ceremony the Preamble to the Constitution of India was read and pledged.
  23. NSS Unit, Eco Club and Red Ribbon Club of MBB University organized a Fit India Swachhata Freedom Run 4.0 with the theme Swachh Bharat, Swasth Bharat on October 13, 2023 in the MBB University Campus to generate awareness about the importance of cleanliness for healthy lifestyle.
  24. NSS Unit and the Red Ribbon Club of MBB University organized a Pledge Taking Ceremony to observe the “International Day of Disaster Risk Reduction (IDDRR)” on October 13, 2023 at 11:00 AM. In this ceremony the Pledge for Disaster Preparedness was taken.
  25. The NSS Unit of MBB University jointly with the Eco Club and Red Ribbon Club of MBB University organized a Cleanliness Drive titled “Ek Tareekh Ek Ghanta” as part of Swachhata Pakhwada – Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2023 on October 01, 2023 to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on the eve of his birth anniversary on October 02, 2023.
  26. NSS Unit, MBB University in collaboration with Red Ribbon Club, MBB University organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp on September 01, 2023. A total 0f 25 units of Blood were donated in this camp.
  27. The NSS Unit, MBB University in collaboration with the Red Ribbon Club of MBB University organized a Pledge Taking Ceremony on August 18, 2023 where the "Sadbhavana Diwas" pledge was taken.
  28. NSS Unit, MBB University and the Department of Library & Information Science in collaboration with the Tripura Publishers’ Guild organized a Book Exhibition during August 23 – 25, 2023.
  29. The NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club, MBB University organized “Panch Pran Pledge” taking ceremony at the Dighalia Gram Panchayat, the Adopted Village of MBB University on August 12, 2023. In this pledge taking ceremony, the pledge was taken with Soil in hand. Dr. Dilip Kumar Das, former MLA of Tripura was present in this program.
  30. The NSS Unit, Eco Club and Red Ribbon Club, MBB University organized a “Tree Plantation Ceremony”, at the Dighalia Gram Panchayat, the Adopted Village of MBB University on August 12, 2023. In this program tree saplings were planted throughout the Adopted Village. Dr. Dilip Kumar Das, former MLA of Tripura was present in this program.
  31. The NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club, MBB University organized the “Har Ghar Tiranga” Campaign at the Dighalia Gram Panchayat, the Adopted Village of MBB University on August 12, 2023. In this campaign the NSS Volunteers and Red Ribbon Club Members went go Door to Door of the Adopted Village and distributed the Indian National Flag, the Tiranga among the villagers and encourage them to hoist the Tiranga on August 15, 2023. Dr. Dilip Kumar Das, former MLA of Tripura was present in this program.
  32. The NSS Volunteers and Red Ribbon Club members collected Soil from the Block/Panchayat/Municipality of their home and brought the Soil to the University on August 15, 2023 where soils from different parts of Tripura were assembled to signify Unification and to pay tribute to our Motherland. This activity was organized in line of “Meri Mati Mera Desh” Campaign, “Jan Bhagidari” Campaign and “Mission LiFE” Campaign to celebrate the 77th Independence Day on August 15, 2023 under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
  33. The NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club, MBB University organized the “Har Ghar Tiranga” Campaign for One Week from August 08, 2023 to August 14, 2023. The NSS Volunteers and Red Ribbon Club Members went Door to Door in their locality and distributed the Indian National Flag, the Tiranga and encouraged the people to hoist the Tiranga on August 15, 2023. This activity was organized in line of “Meri Mati Mera Desh” Campaign, “Jan Bhagidari” Campaign and “Mission LiFE” Campaign to celebrate the 77th Independence Day on August 15, 2023 under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

The NSS Unit, MBB University and the Red Ribbon Club, MBB University organized a Blood Donation Camp on April 05, 2023 as a part of the 7-Day Special Camp during April 03, 2023 to April 09, 2023. Dr. Ataur Rahman, MBBS, Medical Counselor & Motivier, Bangladesh delivered a Motivational Speech to encourage the students and aware them about the benefits of Blood Donation.
  39. The NSS Unit, MBB University and the Red Ribbon Club, MBB University organized a Cloth Donation Camp at Kali Maa Bricks Industries (Unit - II), Jirania on April 04, 2023 as a part of the 7-Day Special Camp during April 03, 2023 to April 09, 2023.

  42. NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club of MBB University celebrated International Women's day on March 13, 2023. Prof. Chandrika Basu Majumder, Dept. of Political Science, Tripura University was present as the Eminent Speaker. In this occasion a Debate Competition was also organized.
  43. The NSS volunteers of MBB University organized an Art Session in connection with the International Women's Day 2023 involving the school goers of the Dighalia Gram Panchayat, the Adopted Village of MBB University on March 11, 2023.
  44. NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club of MBB University observed Martyr’s Day on January 30, 2023 by organizing Silence of TWO (02) Minutes at 11:00 AM in the Conference Hall, Academic Block, MBB University.
  45. The NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club of MBB University participated in the organization of the celebration of Republic Day on January 26, 2023 in the Administrative Block Premises of MBB University. Prof. Satyadeo Poddar, Honourable Vice-Chancellor, MBB University unfurled the National Flag.
  46. NSS Unit, MBB University organized a Door - to -Door "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign at Dighalia Gram Panchayat, the adopted village of MBB University on January 23, 2023 to encourage villagers to hoist National Flag on January 26, 2023 the Republic Day of India.
  47. The NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club of MBB University, in collaboration with the Cultural Committee of MBB University organized the celebration of National Youth Day through an online program on January 13, 2023 commemorating the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda in the Conference Hall, Academic Block, MBB University. NSS Volunteers, Red Ribbon Club members and students of the university participated in this event and presented a colorful program.
  48. NSS Unit of MBB University and the Red Ribbon Club of MBB University jointly organized a Door – to – Door Awareness Campaign against the Injecting Drug Use & HIV/AIDS at Dighalia Gram Panchayat, the Adopted Village of MBB University on December 04, 2022 to observe the World AIDS Day – 2022. School children of the Adopted Village were encouraged to prepare awareness posters.
  49. NSS Unit of MBB University and the Red Ribbon Club of MBB University jointly organized a Door – to – Door Awareness Campaign against the Injecting Drug Use & HIV/AIDS at Dighalia Gram Panchayat, the Adopted Village of MBB University on November 26, 2022 to observe the World AIDS Day – 2022.
  50. The NSS Unit, MBB University organized a “Pledge Taking Ceremony” on the Preamble of the Constitution of India involving the Villagers of Dighalia Gram Panchayat, the Adopted Village of MBB University to observe Constitution Day 2022 on November 26, 2022.

NSS Unit, MBB University in collaboration with Red Ribbon Club, MBB University organized a Unity Run in the MBB University campus on October 31, 2022 to celebrate Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) commemorating the Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbahi Patel – The Architect of Unification.

NSS Unit, MBB University in collaboration with Red Ribbon Club, MBB University organized a “Discussion Session on Unity and Integrity” and a Pledge Taking Ceremony at the Conference Hall, Academic Block, MBB University on October 31, 2022 to celebrate Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) commemorating the Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbahi Patel – The Architect of Unification.
  53. The NSS Unit, MBB University collected approximately 15 Kilograms of Plastic Waste & Trash and disposed the waste safely in the proper dustbin on October 19, 2022 as a part of Clean India Campaign.
  54. NSS Unit, MBB University in collaboration with the Red Ribbon Club, MBB University organized Clean India Campaign to collect Plastic Waste & other Trash Materials at Dighalia Gram Panchayat, the Adopted Village of MBB University on October 16, 2022 and collected 35 Kilograms of Plastic and Other waste.
  55. NSS Unit, MBB University in collaboration with Red Ribbon Club, MBB University organized a Pledge Taking Ceremony on October 13, 2022 in the Conference Hall, Academic Block, MBB University to observe the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction (IDDRR) 2022 on the theme “Substantially increase the Availability of and access to multi-hazard early warning systems and disaster risk information and assessments to people by 2030”.
  56. NSS Unit, MBB University in collaboration with the Red Ribbon Club, MBB University organized a Pledge Taking Ceremony to eradicate malnutrition form our society on September 06, 2022 in the Conference Hall, Academic Block, MBB University to observe the “National Nutrition Month 2022”.
  57. NSS Unit, MBB University in collaboration with the Red Ribbon Club, MBB University organized a Door-to-Door Awareness Campaign about Women and Health, Children and Education, Problem of Malnutrition, Gender Sensitive Water Conservation & Management and Traditional Foods for Women & Children in Tribal Areas at Dighalia Gram Panchayat, the Adopted Village of MBB University on September 04, 2022 to observe the “National Nutrition Month 2022”.
  58. NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club of MBB University in collaboration with the Alumni Association, MBB University organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp on August 14, 2022 in the Academic Block, MBB University to celebrate the 75th Year of Independence under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. A total of 21 – unit blood was donated in this camp. Team of Teliamura Sub Divisional Hospital, Khowai, Tripura collected the blood.
  59. NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club of MBB University in collaboration with the Alumni Association, MBB University organized a Cleanliness Drive (Swacchata Pakhwada) in the MBB University Campus on August 13, 2022 to celebrate the 75th Year of Independence under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
  60. NSS Unit of MBB University organized a “Pledge Taking Ceremony” on August 12, 2022 at the Conference Hall, Academic Block, MBB University to observe “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA)” an initiative by Government of India to free our nation from Drug Addiction and Substance Abuse.
  61. NSS Unit of MBB University organized Door – to – Door “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign during August 07, 2022 to August 12, 2022 under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage the citizens of Tripura to bring home the National Flag of India, the Tiranga and hoist it during August 13 – 15, 2022 to mark the 75th Year of India’s Independence. On August 07, 2022 this door – to – door campaign was conducted in the Dighalia Gram Panchayat, Bamutia RD Block, West Tripura the Adopted Village of MBB University.
  62. The NSS Unit, MBB University and the Red Ribbon Club, MBB University organized a “Pledge Taking Ceremony” to celebrate the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on June 30, 2022 in the Conference Hall, Academic Building, MBB University. Almost 100 Students, NSS Volunteers, Red Ribbon Club members along with faculty members participated in this event. Dr. Bindu Ranjan Chakma, Associate Professor, Department of Political Science led the pledge taking ceremony.
  63. The NSS Unit, MBB University and the Red Ribbon Club, MBB University organized a Clean India Program on April 08, 2022 in the MBB University campus and its surrounding as a part of the 7-Day Special Camp during April 02, 2022 to April 08, 2022.
  64. The NSS Unit, MBB University and the Red Ribbon Club, MBB University organized a Cloth Donation Camp on April 06, 2022 at the Baba Bricks Field, Sidhai Mohanpur, Tripura as a part of the 7-Day Special Camp during April 02, 2022 to April 08, 2022.
  65. The NSS Unit, MBB University and the Red Ribbon Club, MBB University organized a Blood Donation camp on April 07, 2022 as a part of the 7-Day Special Camp during April 02, 2022 to April 08, 2022. Total 29 volunteers donated blood in this camp.
  66. The NSS Unit in collaboration with Red Ribbon Club, MBB University organized a 7-Day Special Camp during April 02, 2022 to April 08, 2022 involving the NSS Volunteers of MBB University. Various programs such as Blood Donation Camp, Cloth Donation camp, Cleanliness Drive, activities in the adopted village, special lectures were organized in this camp.
  67. The NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club of MBB University organized the “International Women’s Day 2022 on March 08, 2022 on the theme of “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow”. In this regard the following programs were organized:
    1. A Seminar on “Gender Equality, Female Foeticide and Injecting Drug Use”. Dr. Sharmila Chhotaray, Assistant Professor & Head-In-Charge, Department of Sociology, Tripura University delivered an invited lecture.
    2. A Quiz Competition to generate the gender sensitivity, awareness against the Injecting Drug use, HIV/AIDS etc. among the students MBB University.
    3. A Rally to generate awareness against the Injecting Drug Use and HIV/AIDS in the MBB University Campus and surrounding locality.
    4. More than 100 NSS Volunteers participated in this program.
  68. MBB University has adopted the village “Dighalia Gram Panchayat, Bamutia RD Block, West Tripura”. The first visit to this adopted village was held on February 16, 2022. Prof. Satyadeo Poddar, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, MBB University and Dr. Dilip Kumar Das, Honorable Member of Tripura Legislative Assembly was present during the visit. After the first visit the NSS Volunteers and Red Ribbon Club members have visited Dighalia Gram Panchayat regularly and completed a door to door wellness survey among 620 households and 2307 villagers, to generate awareness against HIV/AIDS, Injecting Drug Use, and Plastic Pollution etc. Educational and Cultural Skill development workshops involving the school students of the village are also being organized regularly.
  69. The NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club of MBB University organized the celebration of Republic Day on January 26, 2022 in the Administrative Building Premises of MBB University. Prof. Satyadeo Poddar, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, MBB University unfurled the National Flag. NSS Volunteers, Red Ribbon Club members and students of the university participated in this event and presented a colorful program.

The NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club of MBB University organized the celebration of National Youth Day through an online program on January 12, 2022 commemorating the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda in the Conference Hall, Academic Building, MBB University. NSS Volunteers, Red Ribbon Club members and students of the university participated in this event and presented a colorful program.
  71. Red Ribbon Club and NSS Unit, Maharaja Bir Bikram University in collaboration with Tripura State AIDS Control Society organized a 2 - Day Awareness Program against HIV/AIDS Epidemic and Injecting Drug Use (IDU) with a special reference to Tripura during December 01-02, 2021 in the Conference Hall, Academic Building, MBB University. In this program Quiz Competition, Debate Competition, Poster Competition and Awareness Seminar were organized to increase the awareness against alarming increase of new HIV/AIDS infections amongst the IDUs of Tripura most of whom are young students. Dr. Deep Debbarma, Assistant Project Director, Tripura State AIDS Control Society was present as the Special Guest and Mr. Subhrajit Bhattacharjee, Assistant Director, Tripura State AIDS Control Society was present as the Guest of Honour. More than 100 Students from MBB University, MBB College, BBM College and Tripura Govt. Law College participated in this awareness program.
  72. The NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club of MBB University organized a Blood Donation Camp on December 18, 2021 in the Academic Building, MBB University under the supervision of the representatives of Tripura State Blood Transfusion Council. The main aim of this Blood Donation Camp was to contain the shortage of Blood in the Blood Banks of Tripura and to inspire & aware the young students in the “Giving Blood is Giving Life” principle. A total of 20 donors donated blood in this Blood Donation Camp.
  73. The NSS Unit, MBB University organized a Clean India Program in commemoration of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” on October 28, 2021 in the MBB University campus. For the purpose, the NSS Volunteers performed an extensive cleanliness drive in the virtue of SWAACH BHARAT mission in and around the MBB university campus.
  74. Four NSS Volunteers of MBB University participated in the National Integration Camp, 2021 organized by Tripura State NSS Cell and Directorate of Youth affairs & Sports, Government of Tripura in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India during March 22-28, 2021.
  75. Five NSS Volunteers of MBB University participated in the State Level Youth Festival, 2021 organized by Tripura State NSS Cell and Directorate of Youth affairs & Sports, Government of Tripura during January 06 - 08, 2021.
  76. An awareness camp on “Tobacco Free Campus” was organized at MBB University by the NSS Unit, MBB University in collaboration with the Nandangar UPHC, under District Health Family Welfare Society, Office of the Chief Medical Officer, West Tripura District on March 25, 2021 in the Conference Hall, Academic Block, MBB University.
  77. The NSS Unit, MBB University organized a 7-Day Special Camp during March 16, 2021 to March 22, 2021 at the Conference Hall, Academic Block, MBB University. Prof. Satyadeo Poddar, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, MBB University presided over the inaugural session and delivered the presidential address. Dr. Chitrajit Bhaumik, Associate Professor & Tripura State NSS Officer, Directorate of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of Tripura was present in the inaugural session as Special Guest. Dr. Sumanta Chakrabarti, Registrar, MBB University addressed the participants in the inaugural session. Dr. Rajesh Chatterjee, NSS Officer, Tripura University, Dr. Madhusudan Murasingh, NSS Officer, Maharaja Bir Bikram College; Dr. Runu Dhar, Associate Professor, MBB University; Dr. Bindu Ranjan Chakma, Associate Professor, MBB University; Ms. Rebeka Debbarma, Assistant Professor, MBB University; Dr. Antiarbum Ranglong, Assistant Professor, MBB University; Dr. Anuj Kanchan Datta Roy, Assistant Professor, MBB University and Dr. Debadatta Adak, Assistant Professor and NSS Program Officer, MBB University delivered lectures in this camp.
    A blood donation camp was organized in this camp on March 18, 2021 in collaboration with Tripura State Blood Transfusion Council at MBB University. 32 NSS Volunteers of MBB University donated blood in this blood donation camp. Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Organization, Agartala demonstrated a meditation session as a part of this special camp. A Cleanliness Drive in the MBB University Campus and its periphery was performed on March 21, 2021.
  78. The NSS Unit, MBB University organized a Cloth Donation Camp on March 13, 2021 at Joykali Bricks Industries, Baskobrapara, Birendranagar, Jirania, West Tripura. The clothes were collected through donations by NSS Volunteers, students and employees of MBB University.
  79. The NSS Unit, MBB University celebrated International Women‟s Day on March 08, 2021 in the Conference Hall, Academic Building, MBB University. Prof. Satyadeo Poddar, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, MBB University presided over the function and delivered the presidential address. Dr. Debadatta Adak, Assistant Professor, and NSS Program Officer, MBB University delivered the welcome address. Dr. Sumanta Chakrabarti, Registrar, MBB University, Dr. Jhuma Majumder, Assistant Professor, MBB University, Ms. Rebeka Debbarma, Assistant Professor, MBB University and Dr. Bindu Ranjan Chakma, Associate Professor, MBB University delivered speech in this occasion.
  80. The NSS Unit, MBB University celebrated Republic Day on January 26, 2021. Prof. Satyadeo Poddar, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, MBB University unfurled the National Flag at Administrative Block, MBB University. He presided over the program and delivered the presidential address. The flag hoisting ceremony was followed by a cultural event performed by the NSS Volunteers and students of MBB University.
  81. The NSS Unit, MBB University celebrated National Youth Day on January 12, 2021 in the Conference Hall, Academic Block, MBB University. Prof. Satyadeo Poddar, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, MBB University presided over this event and delivered the presidential address. Swami Divyarasananda Maharaj, Ramkrishna Mission, Dhaleswar, Agartala was present as the Chief Guest. Dr. Sumanta Chakrabarti, Registrar, MBB University delivered the welcome address. A cultural event, performed by the NSS volunteers and students of MBB University, was organized in this occasion.
  82. The NSS Unit of MBB University has conducted a Jan Andolan Programme during November 25, 2020 to December 31, 2020. The main aim of this awareness programme was to generate mass awareness amongst the people to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic.
